On the second day of Christmas, LWB sent to me… the very first thing ever uploaded to e-h!
No, we won’t be doing every untranslated gallery in order of publication, but this one was cute.
How do you feel about sound effects? You might notice a lot more translated noises in this release than usual, because Almond was generous enough to translate them. Do you think they add context or readability to a story?

I know enough to read most common sound effects, so I can go either way, but sometimes the sound effects are jokes in themselves, so if they’re funny or important or referenced, then I’d like to know.

I like translated sound effects, but the lack of them isn’t a deal breaker.

If the sounds somehow affect the story, I’d prefer to have them translated.
I can’t ready any Japanese though, so untranslated sounds just look like art to me.

That’s almost entirely related to the questions, “How much imagination do you have?” and, “Have you ever read one of these before?”

Hm, usually use my imagination (plays the barney the dinosaur imagination song) when reading those anyway. I mean, after a while, I’m pretty sure you all know what sloppy wet noises go on during the act anyways :p So no, they don’t really add to it for me, though the effort is certainly appreciated because the actual release looks much nicer for it.
